Profile Summary:
Dr. Marwan M. Kalla is a renowned name in the Dental and Orthodontic care in Qatar and internationally with over 45 years of professional experience in public and private sectors. Dr. Kalla has in-depth knowledge in the dental and orthodontics fields and a proven track record of supervising and performing comprehensive Dental and Orthodontic services for patients. Dr. Kalla is the first doctor in Qatar to bring beautiful smile to the faces of young and elderly people in Qatar.
Education:
Graduated from Damascus University Dental School in 1971. In 1983 went to England to complete post-graduate studies in Orthodontics at:
- Royal Dental Hospital in London
- St. George's Hospital
- Guys & St. Thomas Hospital
Experience:
- Worked in the Syrian Army Dental Clinics for 7 years from 1971 to 1978.
- Started his career in Qatar in 1978 establishing Orthodontics Department in Rumailah and Hamad Hospitals in cooperation with London University.
- In 1985 was in charge of the Orthodontics Department for three years at Hamad Dental Hospital.
- In 1988 – 1989 I established Orthodontics Clinic in "Dr. Basheer Obaid Dental Clinic" in Riyadh – KSA. In the meantime he was working with Hamad Hospital as a visitor doctor, as per to the instructions of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and H.E. Dr. Hajar Ahmed Hajar, Minister of Public Health.
- In 1989, moved to the private sector and established a Dental Clinic
- In 2006, established a Dental Centre. Now the Centre has a team of 40 employees and is looking forward to expand in the medical field by establishing a Poly Medical Centre.

Attended and participated in more than 65 international conferences and meetings worldwide and completed courses in Implantology, Lazer, Indo-dontics, Prosto-dontics..etc.
